Resolving manufacturing problems by applying knowledge and skills, escalating design, manufacturing, and product test issues to other people within the organization when appropriate.
Focusing on process improvement which shall result in reducing process cycle time, increasing quality and reducing cost.
Performing Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Cost (DFC), and process optimization for quality and productivity improvement.
Communicating design and material changes to the contract manufacturers, purchasing and planning.
Managing and maintaining the AVL, BOMs and ECNs in client's system.
Participating in New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
Meet with Architects, Code Officials, Inspectors, Contractors, Client Representatives and Vendors and document decisions.
HVAC system design and component selections.
Client meetings, proposal writing, and cost estimating.
Management of designer and CAD operator level staff members.
Completing projects within established design budgets.
Coordination of HVAC equipment, ductwork and piping layouts with architectural/structural designs and with in-house electrical and plumbing engineers to prevent conflicts during construction.
Preparing project-specific specifications from Division 15 Masters.
Preparing order-of-magnitude estimates of probable construction costs.
Conducting initial site visits to verify and document existing conditions.
Conducting Construction Site Observations to document progress and discrepancies.
We have USGBC (US Green Building Council) LEED accredited professionals on staff to provide innovation in the design process for energy and environmental conservation.
